Creating a little bit of art work for the new kitchen...

Mmm two posts in one night!?

Brain working overtime... whilst my brain has been keeping me up at night (or should I say early hours of the morning) on the odd occasion, i've been having a play on the computer to develop some art work for the kitchen... without the paint brush this time!

Hoping to find a decent printing company to get these babies printed out for framing....

So, what do you think!?

Also drummed this up as well... thought it might look nice on a card... we'll see.... need to move house first before I start getting all creative again!

Right O! Off to bed!

Cheers me dears!

"Where have you gone?", I hear you cry.....

Hello, howdy, hiya, how's it goin'?

Don't panic.... I'm still here... with some exciting news!

I do apologise profoundly for being incommunicado for the past several weeks, but Mr P and I have been snowed under with... wait for it... sorting out our new home! Oh yes people! The paperwork has been signed and we are now on the big countdown (two and a half weeks to be precise) before we move into our new abode!

Build stage in April 2012

So, as you can imagine, stress levels are high, our current house looks like a bomb site with boxes everywhere whilst we declutter before we move (massive village garage sale appropriately taking place the weekend prior to moving; selling "stuff" on Ebay; packing up the craft room (how many boxes!?!?) and packing up the kitchen (Magimix and KitchenAid re-boxed...).

But in all this chaos we have been buying lots of new goodies for our new home which I can't wait to unpack!

And the best bit of it all is my brand new spanking kitchen which is MASSIVE! It's only taken me 12 years to get the kitchen of my dreams! And it's been worth the wait!

Ahhhh kitchen envy!

And plenty of space for an informal farmhouse dining table!

As you can see, there is a rather large gap at the back of the kitchen.... so I've treated myself to a new oven... of course!

After much deliberation on what oven to go for, I've settled for a Rangemaster 90 Professional in stainless steel and I can't wait to see it installed! The icing on the cake! I've gone for gas rings and electric ovens. We debated over induction, but we didn't have the right type of electrics in the house to support an induction and I didn't want to blow our new house up! We looked at Stoves, Smeg and other brands and this one came out top for me. I can't wait to get cooking and entertaining!

So, whose for dinner!?!?

Now, just the debate on whether to treat myself to a Dualit toaster and kettle to finish it all off!

I'm afraid that I probably won't blog again until after we have moved in at the end of June, so sit tight and I'll share some kitchen envy photos with you once I have unpacked!

Much love!

Nic
